The Metlakatla CLH Department would like to invite you to join our
Sm’algyax Scavenger Hunts!
Wednesdays July 22, and Wednesday August 5th.
Hosted by the Culture Lands and Heritage Department’s own Christy Harker and Ashlyn Sampson.
The hunts start at the Metlakatla Ball Field at 10 am Wednesday July 22nd, and Wednesday August 5th.
(please note – the July 29th scavenger hunt has been cancelled because of a scheduling conflict with another event in the Village)
Lunch and prizes around noon!
Each Wednesday, we’ll set out looking for some of these resources from the forest and the ocean:
